We stopped in to The Catch tonight for dinner. We are not from the area and decided to give them a try. What a delight. The ambiance was friendly and quaint. The food was wonderful. We had broiled whitefish with rice and beans. I could have made a meal just from the Red Beans and Rice. The fish was delicious and the seasoning was excellent. We also tried the broiled shrimp with grilled vegetables. So often restaurants under cook the vegetables and this was not the case here. They were grilled perfectly and the seasoning was delicious. We wished that we lived in the area so we could try other items on the menu.

My favorite filet catfish dinner can be found at The Catch. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this small hole in the wall place. The super sweet cashier/server made our visit even better. Her name is Bella and she is the perfect example of friendly service. She was extremely helpful and made our visit even better. We learned from her that there was a jumbo size catfish filet basket that came with 4 huge filets, fries, and hush puppies. My husband and I ordered that to share and then ordered a regular side of fried okra and coleslaw. We also got one tea and one water and our entire mill was $25. Bella was even kind enough to split the basket for us. There was a lady beside me eating boiled shrimp with potatoes that looked amazing as well. We will definitely become regulars. I took my 19 year old grandson who ordered chicken, shrimp and fries. According to him it was great. He complains about the fries everywhere until last night, saying they were the best he's had. The chicken was moist, tender and well seasoned. The key lime pie is total perfection!

My son and I went out for milk and ended up having lunch to catch up on things, and he recommended The Catch. He's been craving and eyeballing the Crawfish Special. I've not really ever experienced a Crawfish cuisine, and I didn't start today. However, I ordered the Shrimp & Catfish (med) Fried Combo and hot damn was it ever delicious and filling! Plenty of food to share or take home for later. 6 pieces of tender white catfish, fried to perfection. Some places the batter is so oily that it's soggy. However, the crust on these were perfect and crispy. The meal came with fries and hush puppies. We both enjoyed a cold beer. My boy, he didn't hesitate and ordered up 2 lbs. of the crawfish... and he ate every single finger licking, mouth smacking, clothes staining one. He was right- this place didn't disappoint at all! I'm hoping to come back and try some other menu options. My Cajun dining experience is limited, but if they are anything less than The Catch in Louisiana, that'll be greatly disappointing but phenomenal for this joint!! We will be back for sure! By far the best Cajun restaurant in Tyler!! I have had a ton of Cajun food all thru Louisiana, and there's will compare to the better ones. Had there boiled crayfish a while back order extra they were so good.

We absolutely love The Catch! Catfish is always on point. My husband who absolutely hates fish and seafood loves their catfish and will go out of his way to get The Catch whenever he canLOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

I love this place. The atmosphere is a rustic seafood joint. And the food is really great. You can seasonally get crawfish in bulk, shrimp and crab. I personally recommend their etouffee and grilled shrimp. Their po-boys are delicious and soups are very flavorful. Drop in!

Absolutely fantastic!! The fish was fried to perfection nice crispiness and perfect seasoning. Tartar sauce was great. Shrimp were huge!!! And cooked to perfection Will definitely be returning
